Dying a Pro Rhyno

I know I have read somewhere that pro plastic takes a dye well, except it fades quickly. But that the pro rhyno does not. I have been unable to find where I read that. Does anyone know if this is the case or not?

Dyeing Innova discs can be confusing because there are many different plastic blends that have the word "Pro" in them.


All I know is that the production Pro drivers nowadays take dye well but it bleeds rather quickly. KC Pro anything won't accept dye very well. I haven't tried R-Pro, but I would bet it dyes like crap.

I bet the Pro Rhyno would not take dye very well. There's only one way to be sure, though. Dye it.

I have tried it before and it will fade incredibly quickly. In a few weeks the dye will be mostly gone and faded.

Can be done...just understand it will fade. Do it with enough heat, high quality vinyl and concentrated enough dye. The biggest problem is that the color can be a crapshoot, ya never know what you are gonna get...Here's a pic of some of mine:

Yup the one on the top is the newest, the others are different ages, the green one is about a year old, was almost black originally.

Thanks again. I will post pictures when I get it done. My vinyl that I got isn't working. (Free from a coworker who does vinyl signs on the side. ) So as soon as I get new vinyl I will give this a shot.
