The border on the Chicken disc was a serious pain to cut out!

I would love to have a disc dyed like this. What would you charge if I supplied the disc?

seriously, though, I don't like to do the same dye twice. Every time I cut out the vinyl for a disc, it's like a little adventure of planning how to cut and where to put breaks in the large pieces, etc. The second time around isn't fun- it just becomes work after that. Hobby not business therefore killing of soul not worth it.

I'll bet you could find someone else to do it, though

I'm getting to be so-so with one color, but can't imagine how I'd go about the muliple colors...especially something so detailed ast that border.

Man, those are both AWESOME dye jobs. Love that buzzard...that's hilarious. There are some talented dudes hanging here, that's for sure.

How in the HECK did you the border pattern red with a black outline???

The part that is red in the border was covered by vinyl initially whilst the disc was dipping in the black pot. Once the black is all dyed, I wash off the disc, remove the parts of vinyl that I now want red, and then the disc gets dipped in the red pot, dyeing the newly exposed surfaces red, at the same time dyeing the already black parts even darker, but not by much. I have these two pots for red and black that are like the dynamic duo of dye nastiness. I haven't washed either in over a year. Just keep adding more dye and water when necessary.

So, I had a half day off from work and it was snowing (again) and what better time to dye!!!

Viking - ace of spades dye - just one minor bleed by an "A". The Viking is going on my trade/sell list if you want it (don't throw them anymore)


Eagle-X: Just picked it up from PIAS used bin and it needed an update. Celtic eagle dye.

I have an Omega AP Supergrip Approach. It's white, and I'd like to try a dye on it, but I've never dyed a Millenium disc, and I have no idea what type of plastic this is, or if it will absorb the dye. Help!!

Millennium Plastics dye the best out of any of the plastics on the market.

Sirius and Millennium dye fast and dark, Q takes a little bit longer but dyes fantastic as well.
