Disc Artwork, Dying, Technique etc...

I posted another topic about some cyclones that were dredged out of a lake. I left one sit in a water/bleach solution in the sun for about 4-5 days. It lightened the disc up to a light tan but the bottom is scaly and brittle. If I rub my hand across the bottom it feels like sandpaper and little flakes come off. I haven't thrown it yet but I doubt this helps the durability. It seems this might be a viable technique with a reduced application.

I have used Goo Gone Extreme for cleaning disc dredged from water & it works great. You don't have to put it in a bath just some towells & a little elbow grease will get the most of it off. I have also heard citristrip works really well but have never tried it.
