First off, great looking dyes. GO CUBBIES! but what the hell is a hilltopper? We were at a Vanderbilt basketball game a few years ago against WKU and my friend yelled out about your "bloody mcnugget" and some blue hair lady turns around and says "its a hilltopper" Now I have been to the tops of many hills but never encountered any menstrual monsters.

allright the name hilltopper came from where the campus is the dorms are at the bottom of a hill and then its one big ass hill to get to all the classes thus thats where the name "hilltopper" came from as for the mascot he just kinda poped into somebodys head and for a smaller college its one of the most recognizeable mascots in college and is fucking hillarious
check this link out i was at this game and it was about 3-4 days after i first saw the video that they took it from and it was great
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ITnCHHnNrA
this is another reason to like big red i hate rap but it was still hillarious to see

I ran in to an actual Banana Slug when I was playing DeLa in Santa Cruz, have you seen these things? Weirdest thing I've seen in a long time. Walking through the woods and what looks like a bright yellow turd is climbing up a tree. I guess the locals lick them for some kind of buzz!
