First attempt at dying...

Postby jeremiah-easter » Sun Oct 12, 2008 4:01 pm

Thanks to the excellent advice here on this forum and the tutorial above my first attempt was a perfect success. Here is a Star TeeRex that I dyed partly for myself and partly for my five year old, dinosaur fanatic, son.

Thanks for the compliments, I really didn't expect my first dye job to turn out this well, I was pretty stoked.

Its close to Jurrasic Park, but I didn't copy it from that if thats what you mean. I think my T-rex is much more menacing than the one on the Jurassic park logo, but I'm biased :D

Part ??? Meant plus one to what's been on the silver screen. Your picture is way better. And more menacing. Cool stuff.

looks fantastic! and i like the Dino

do us a favor and post pics of that disc after 2 weeks, 4.. 12.. etc.
those lines are crisp, i'm interested to see how long they take to bleed and how they look afterwards.

nice work!
