Bag of the month

Postby reed » Tue Feb 10, 2009 10:57 pm

So i constantly change my bag but here is what i have at the moment. Just so you know i can throw sidearm and backhand about equally well. both can reach around four hundred feet if not a little more. I know i'm understable heavy but that's what i've always thrown. Here it is:

Stable/Overstable Drivers
172 Champion Firebird
174 Star XCaliber
172 Star Wraith (I promise it is actually stable even though it's a wraith)

Understable Drivers
169 Champion Roadrunner
175 Champion Roadrunner
172 Elite Z XS (I think that's what it is)
170 Shockline Quarter K II
169 Pro Wraith

Fairway Driver/Midrange
172 ESP Buzzz (Slightly overstable)
175 Elite Z Buzzz (mostly for annys)
174 Clear Evo Sabre

Putters
172 Eco Wizard
170 Clear Evo Wizard

Don't know if it is a problem for you or not, but you have a lot of high speed discs and only one fairway driver. Seems like it would be harder to throw consistent.

Well the two speed twelve discs that I have are the quarter k 2 which I use primarily for thumbers as I can get it to fly like an epic, and the xcaliber which I love. I also use the xs as a fairway driver as well but it's in between.

Dittos. Dump some of those distance drivers and get a couple of TeeBirds.
My trades

I suck at Disc Golf, therefore I can't afford to carry discs that suck.

I like your setup. I think that if it is a versatile disc, one fairway driver is enough. Especially since you carry the buzzz which is a longer mid.

I really like carrying a broken in D-Buzzz to complement my z-buzzz for turnover shots, so thats something you could try. One thing is I would advise getting one max weight or it will get too flippy too fast. I have a 177g that is quite beat and turns over very nicely from a hyzer.

Ya I thought about getting another buzzz but for now the ESP is pretty stable and the elite Z is flippy and the best anny disc I've ever thrown. I will probably pick another one up at some point.
