My Friends Big Bag

Postby topgearaddict » Wed Feb 11, 2009 8:02 pm

My friend is a bit of a plastic junkie as you might see from his bag. Almost all discs were found in our course's lake not bought.

Drivers:
Star XCal
Star Destroyer
Star Max
Star TeeRex
Champ Wraith (custom dyed with a skull on it)
Star Monster
Star Starfire
Champ Orc (Tye-Dye)
Star SL
Star Beast
Champ Viking (Tye-Dye)
Star Valkyrie
Champ Roadrunner
Dx Dragon
Champ Banshee
Star Teebird
Dx Whippet

Mids:
Star Spider
Star Skeeter
Star Shark
Star Stingray

Putter:
Star Aviar Driver

All max weight, anybody see an overlap I should tell him about?

Pick One.

Star Destroyer
Champ Wraith (custom dyed with a skull on it)
Star Starfire
Champ Orc (Tye-Dye)
Star SL
Star Beast
Champ Viking (Tye-Dye)
Star Valkyrie

Pick, at the most, two molds that he likes the best and go with it.

Champ Roadrunner (This is ok)
Star Teebird (This is ok)

Champ Banshee
Dx Whippet
Dx Dragon

Not needed, ditch?

Mids:
Star Spider
Star Skeeter
Star Shark
Star Stingray
Ditch them all and rotate Rocs, or use a Buzz/Drone Combo. OR Go shark/stingray is you must

Putter:
Star Aviar Driver

All max weight, anybody see an overlap I should tell him about?

My friend actually carries these discs in his bag every round, but the advice part is a joke.

He might need a boss or groove as well that would top his bag off nicely. tell him to take the putter out it just takes up space you can do the same thing with a driver. 8)

If you're naturally athletic, you don't need that many discs. Unless you're just using the discs to work out.

I actually play with a guy whose bag looked like that. Oh wait, he only had one mid though. He carried every single disc he owned when he went to play. It was funny to see him rummage through a big ol duffel bag to find the teebird he threw on almost every hole.

Is there a Poe's Law for Disc Golf??
My trades

I suck at Disc Golf, therefore I can't afford to carry discs that suck.

That's part of the fun of playing in lower AM divisions of tournaments, most everyone's bag looks like that. My favorite is watching someone try to choose between their Surge, Wraith and Pulse for a 220' hole.

In a recent tournament someone used a Boss on hole 3.... 179 feet very slight hyzer, hit a tree 50 feet away. I easily parked with a KC Aviar
"What was -that-?"

I love it.

Wow I'm not when sure what to say to that bag. I think I speak for everyone when I say that you need to limit your molds.
