Just because you're going back to the basics doesn't mean you can't throw in a Max D driver. Why not throw a Wraith, Orc or Starfire in there?
Putting is overrated.

Ive actually been toying with the idea of putting a Pro Starfire in the bag. I had a Wraith and lost it recently and just havent replaced it. I really like to play the hyzer flip for max D so something understable (like a Valk, which Ive been throwing FOREVER) is working for me right now.

Cool beans. Yeah...I LOVE the Star Valk. When calm, it can outdistance my Destroyer when thrown perfectly. The only problem I have with the Valk is when there's any headwind it becomes way too understable...in that situation it is nice to have something with a little more stability (i.e. Destroyer or XCal). But it looks like you have that covered with the Firebird...you just won't get as much D.
Putting is overrated.

This bag is almost identical to mine except instead of Valks I throw Vikings. Vikings are a bit more stable thus making them a bit more versatile. And yes, you need more teebirds. :)
Meh...

I said "more teebirds" originally, because you might want to do with TBs what you already do with Rocs. So, add in 2 DX and beat them in.
