The fall/winter is the time for learning new discs well and giving them a good try out. I am still trying to learn the PD and to really break a couple in and now that I'm not gonna be playing too many tourneys for a few months, it's a good time.

I am making a glow bag and the only slot I can't fill is overstable mid. Here is what I am thinking right now:

Champ XCal
Champ Destroyer
Champ orc x2
champ EX
Champ EL
Champ Firebird
Champ Leopard (maybe)
Champ Whippet (maybe)

Z buzzz x2
Champ coyote x2

Wizards x 5

I feel like I need something between the whippet and buzzz. I am going to try a cobra but don't know if they are stable enough to really be better than just working the buzzz with some hyzer or powering down on the FB. Anyone thrown the champ glow cobras or know of a stable glow midrange I am forgetting? Also hoping for the disc in premium plastic, DX glow rocs are nice but not really what I am looking for.

Man this is just for fun and is probably not gonna last, I ain't dropping $50 on a disc for that.

Although that is a good suggestion.

hey you asked!

however, I havnt run into any glow mids that were beefy. I have had some freak heavy glo buzzz's that were overstable before. Glow coyotes are straight as an arrow. Not sure on glow cobras. If you dnt want to spend 50 on a kenny. Glow winthrop hole 7 roc is nice too. They usually go eaper around 25-30 range

So I decided to use a glow stalker as my overstable mid replacement. It doesn't have a ton of glide and can be thrown about 300' (the same distance as my mids) pretty easily. I am really only planning to use it in a headwind with the buzzz and coyote getting 90% of the work.

I really want to get the measure of ascents and unless I take eagles out, I'll never know b/c every time I ask myself if the shot is a ascent or eagle shot, I answer eagle.
