Thumbs up for the ION combo.

Only thing I see lacking is a true overstable disc ie Firebird, Predator, or XXX. Maybe a little overlap in the D Drivers lineup with the Nuke and Katana.

the pro katana is a lot more flippy than the nuke, it is a bit of overlap but i keep the katana mainly for special tailwind occasions.
i had an xxx but i lost it, so thats why i dont have anything in that slot. should i replace it or is the c-pd overstable enough to fill that role?

If you liked the XXX for that slot I'd say get another.
A C-PD isn't quite overstable enough do dependably hyzer into any headwind (it's more like an X Predator flight) - if you want to try something different, go with a champ firebird or z predator.

XXX is a great disc for that slot IMO, the give and take is that its shorter than the FB or the Pred, but IMO is better in a headwind 300 and shorter, its great for overhand shots, FH Rollers, short sidearm approaches and skips, at least as good as the other 2 discs. For overhand shots tho its longer than either because it turns over soooo slowly.
