just added a champy star orc as a tweener disc and a seasoned dx eagle for trick shots into the bag. worked out very nicely during my two rounds today

heres what ive been working with so far this season.

3x xcal- 1 champy star that is freakishly stable, 1 1st run star that is fairly overstable, 1 bottom stamp star that will flip up a little
2x proto z force- 1 straight, 1 slightly flippy
star sl- used for longer turnovers

2x pred- new z, beat esp
3x teebird- beat 1st run star for turnovers, newer star for straight shots, stable champ glo

4x roc- fresh super roc for hyzers and wind, 3 ching rocs: slightly overstable, dead straight, flippy.

2x zone- esp and pro d. used for sidearm upshots and also short spike hyzers. beating in the pro d for straighter or even turnover sidearm upshots.
2x banger gt- elite Z for hyzers and wind, pro d for straight upshots
2x og wizard- still my main putters.

The SL isnt quite as flippy as i would like for certain shots, so im adding a star beast to work alongside it.

distance:
3x Force- 2 proto z (straight, slightly flippy), fresh beefy 1st run esp
Star SL- slightly flippy
Star Beast- slightly less stable than SL, great for long turnovers and rollers if needed.

Fairways:
Z predator
2x star teebird- straight/ beat flippy 1st run
champ leopard- in between stability of the 2 teebirds

Midrange:
d drone- testing out
3x ching rocs- overstable, slightly overstable, straight
esp comet- straight, hyzerflips, turnovers

putt/approach:
2x og wizard- main putters
esp zone- sidearm upshots and approaches, short spike hyzers, trick shots
2x banger gt- seasoned pro d (straight, holds turnovers well), Z (fairly overstable)

yeah it seems to be working great. i love the flight of a beat teebird or a seasoned leopard but they are too stable for what i use them for when new. id like to have a back up plan in the event i dont have any of either, any recommendations in the same speed range?

the drone is really nice in pro d. im loving it, and i can throw it surprisingly well forehand as well. its like a zone that actually has a little bit of glide.

Agreed on the Drone. If by too stable you mean too straight a new heavy Champ Teebird could be enough. Eagles have variations and some are beefy to the point of being Firebirds so it is a crap shoot with them unless you know what a proper one for you looks like. PD would do but they vary across plastics too and are faster and longer.

I'm very happy with a pro leo in this slot.

pro leopards sound intriguing, there are some with a heavy star blend at the pro shop i work at. I think ill pick some up and give them a shot. dx might break in too quickly im afraid.

2x banger gt- pro d for straight approaches, Z for hyzers
esp zone- sidearm approaches

4x ching roc- flippy to overstable

3x star teebird- flippy, straight, overstable eco-star
champ monster- 2x pro-line L's, newer x mold
ill occasionally throw in my lineup of destroyers and x-cal's for longer courses

took out the bangers and added an evo wiz, a newer soft wiz, and a seasoned circle tooled wiz.
