bsnone1's bag

Why not...

Distance Drivers:

156g Blizzard Champion Wraith (only pulled out when throwing particularly well - that is, getting good spin on everything else)
168g Champion Valkyrie
158g Star Valkyrie
168g Champion Beast (although this took a really bad hit off of a tree that took a small hack out of the rim...)

Fairway Drivers:
150g Champion Leopard (new)
170g Champion Leopard (beat in)
171g Champion TBird + (for LHBH that needs stronger left to right, eventually for forehand shots?)
168g DX Eagle (still very much learning what this does)

168g Z Buzzz
172g D Buzzz
172g Champion Roc3

175g KC Pro Aviar (longer putts)
175g SSS Gateway Warlock (pretty much everything inside 60 ft)

Out of the bag (for now)
172g Nuke SS
146g Blizzard Champion Katana
150g DX Kite (never was comfortable with this disc)
165g Star Archon
5 175g SSS Gateway Warlock (used for practice)
175g SS Gateway Wizard
150g DX Aviar P and A.

Alright, (almost) 3 months later and heading into my first tourney this weekend (Lockdown @ The Rock) and here is the bag I'm headed out with:

Distance Drivers:
168 MOLS
170 SOLF
170 Champion Firebird (Thumbers)

Fairway Drivers
171 Star Teebird
171 Champion Eagle X
171 Champion Eagle L
171 Champion Leopard
171 X Cyclone

180 Roc3
177 Fugitive

173 SSS Wizard
173 Medium Ion
175 KC Pro Aviar

That pretty much jams my bag full as can be. I may take out the X Cyclone if it gets really windy as I struggle with control with that disc in high winds and add a 173 11x Champion Eagle.

Stoked to play my first event! My goal is to try and not finish last...

I would imagine you cover the Cyclone shots with the other discs after learning the proper release angles and power anyway. That's a lot of FW drivers.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Well my anniversary present showed up last week and I'm now into a brand new Dynamic Discs Commander bag. With that I'm able to carry several more discs so here is the set up.
No major update here just a few additions...

171g Star Wraith (headwinds)
175g Champion Orc (new disc, probably overlaps with the wraith)
170g MOLS (beat, turnovers)
172g MOLS (new, downwind shots)
169g SOLS
170g SOLF (workhorse)
175g MOLF (new, backup)
175g 12x Champion Firebird (utility)
175g Star Teebird
170g 11x Champion Teebird
171g 11x Champion Eagle X
170g DX Eagle X
171g Pre-Barry Champion Leopard (interestingly enough I found this at play-it-again used for $5, when I first started playing and is AWESOME)

172g ESP Zone
180g First Run Roc3
177g Lucid Fugitive

172g Medium Proton Ion
174g SSS Wizard
174g SS Wizard
