The Prodigy stuff is not for me; I feel like I have to throw it too hard.

That being said, the Patriot is money. It flies exactly like the CFR C-FD I carry, except it isn't domey and feels way better. and I can buy like 5 of them. Do they make it in different plastics? The one I got off some guy on DGCR is a pearly champion style.

I lost the 2nd newest Roc in my bag. Sad day :(. It was a sweet custom stamped 'Team Roc' from a Roc v. Buzz tournament.

I also lost my new Ion in the bag. When it rains it pours.

170g re-issue g9i wizard (putting)
167g super beat g9i wizard (approaches, long putts)
175g DGR Ion (broken in) (short drives)
3x 177+ dx Rocs (from new to super trashed) (midrange things)
1x 175g Opto XXX (forhand rollers, spikes, short skips, wind, etc)
1x 172g Pinnacle Patriot (fairway stuffs, mostly turnovers at the moment)
1x 175g DGR P PD (high line distance, lower power fairway shots)
2x 175g DGR S PD (workhorse drivers)
1x 175g DGR C PD (overstable fairway stuff)
1x 172g Quantum Quasar (overstable distance stuff)
2x 171g Z Nuke (new and beat, most distance shots)

Patriots come in Pinnacle, Icon, and Legend. From what I hear, patriot Icon is slower and straight up straight. Pinnacle is a little faster, and Legend is overstable. Legend is only available as CFR. One thing about the Pinnacles- some are gummy. First runs at 168g (white to off white/light yellow) are gummy, super flat to slightly concave, have a higher PLH, and are more stable. Production run light pink in the lower 160's to 168g are slightly gummy and are almost as sweet as the first runs; they have a slight dome and a lower PLH. If you "like" the legacy collector page on FB you will read up on all this kind of stuff.

Too bad about the Roc. Try a Legacy Ghost :)

Nah, I'm good on Rocs. Got another 40 :).

Time to get that stable midrange roc broken in ;).

Thanks for the Patriot info; I'll look into it.

I'm not looking for a stable Patriot; the one I have flips and comes back slightly at the end. However, the Icon sounds really sweet. It would break into a nice roller.

I carry 3-4 Patriots. They are my main driver. They took my P-PD and C TD slots (mainly TD) The icon and flat Gummy pinnacles are what you're looking for. The flat gummies are 168-169 and great.

Got another Patriot in a trade this evening, as well as a Rival. So we'll see how those do.

I picked up an Icon Patriot in a white plastic that feels really good. They are quite a bit flatter, almost depressed in the middle.

Ok, right now my wintereized bag. Some of my Rocs come out and my g9i wizards get replaced with a different blend.

2x Wizards
2x Ions
3x Rocs
1x XXX
2x Patriot
1x Rival
4x PD
1x Quasar
2x Nuke

I haven't thrown the Rival yet; it just came in today. It is a great feeling disc; almost like a gazelle with a notch on the wing.

Get some pinnacle ghosts and a gauge to replace your straight and flippy rocs.

I have like 30 Rocs that I like in my basement. I don't think I'm going to mess with my midranges any time soon. I have heard the Ghost is nice, but why change what's been working?

On the PD front, I carry 4, all maxish weight
P PD - Big, high distance lines with a tiny flex. It's new, but once it breaks in, it's huge on power anhyzer shots.
S PD - yellow champy-star, my money one. I throw 80% of my PD shots with this. Power straight shots, hyzers, shallow hyzer flips, some flex shots, and some anhyzers
S PD - red champy-star. This one is pretty new. Big flex shots, some hyzers
C PD - CFR run, the really overstable ones. Wind, hyzers, etc.

So, my first day with the Rival in the bag. It is not as overstable as I thought it was going to be for sure. I was throwing a max weight Icon first run, and was able to turn it over quite a bit into a 15mph wind, which really surprised me. I was able to get it to hold a good hyzer after a couple of throws on the course, but I was afraid to lay into it and flip it. I think time will tell here.

I also got my first round in with the Icon Patriot, and this thing is exactly what I want. Easy to flip out of the box without being insanely flippy. It's going to break in nicely and I think be a great roller option down the road.

2x 174g Excel Clutches - I've been putting with these around my house and they're so accurate. dgdave will be happy.

1x 175g Proton Ion - Broken in. Anhyzers, shallow hyzers, straight shots
1x 172g Neutron Ion - New. Hyzers, Wind

1x 179g Excel Ghost - Straight shots, hyzer flips, anhyzers
1x 179g Gravity Ghost - Basically most of my midrange shots
1x 179g Icon Ghost - Just takes up space. I don't know what to do with it.
1x 175g Opto XXX - forhand rollers, spikes, short skips, wind, etc

1x 174g Icon Patriot - Rollers, low power shots
1x 173g Pinnacle Patriot - Most fairway drives
1x 172g Pinnacle Rival - Hyzers, straight shots with fade, wind

1x 175g P PD - Big, high distance lines with a tiny flex. It's new, but once it breaks in, it's huge on power anhyzer shots.
1x 175g S PD - yellow champy-star, my money one. I throw 80% of my PD shots with this. Power straight shots, hyzers, shallow hyzer flips, some flex shots, and some anhyzers
1x 172g S PD - red champy-star. This one is pretty new. Big flex shots, some hyzers
1x 175g C PD - CFR run, the really overstable ones. Wind, hyzers, etc.
