I picked up a DX teebird which might replace the XL when it gets beat up, but right now it is a PIG, more stable than my brand new champion Teebird.

Still feels like a lot of discs, any suggestions on trimming it down? Im wondering if a predator could replace both the Firebird/Monster. The firebird gives perfect wind performance but no distance and the Monster offers more distance but is sketchy in stronger headwinds. Is a Pred longer than a firebird?

The DX Teebird will break in to be very straight when thrown from a hyzer. If that's what you're using your XL for then the DX Teebird will be better. They are fairly overstable when new.

The Pred is longer than a Firebird. I'd think your OLF's would work as a moderately overstable driver.

Yeah thats exactly what I use my XL for. I really like it too but if the DX Teebird works even better for that purpose I would like to slim down the # of molds by dropping the XL.

The Pred is longer than a Firebird. I'd think your OLF's would work as a moderately overstable driver.

Both of my OLF's are flat top and hence not that stable. Great for big distance though. I'm hoping to get my hands on a 1.2 SOLF, if it flies anything like my earlier run domey SOLF then yes it will fit the bill as a moderatley overstable driver.

Updated...I've narrowed it down to 4 driver molds, 2 mids and 1 putter (and 1 miscellaneous ). Pretty happy with this setup, I may even drop the Wasp as Ive recently concluded that it is not that different from my ESP Buzzz.
