Postby colombo117 » Sun Sep 14, 2008 6:12 pm

Haven't posted in a while, the bag has changed, here we go.

Putters

Old Aero 170g ish: nice right hooking anny lines for up shots and short drives
Pro D Banger 170g: worn in nicely main putter
New Pro D Banger 170g: for my drives <225 ft

Middies

KC Pro Roc 11x 166g: old, worn, and still kicking anny lines
DX Rancho Roc : stable and predictable
Pro D Drone 173g: When the wind gets hot.

Fairway Drivers

Cyclone 167g:
Star Eagle X 175g:

Distance Drivers

X Avenger 167g: Long and straight (wearing into Understable Driver)
Z Avenger 174g: Long and Straight

Overstable Driver

First Run ESP Predator 174g

Any advice would be great.
Thanks.

Looks super solid. I like the Cyclones and eagles, I used to use an eagle, but switched to a teebird(more predictable flight for me). how far do you throw and do the Roc and cyclone overlap?

The Roc and Cyclone can be thrown on similar lines, but the cyclone can get distance more easily. Good glide and way faster.

I am trying out the eagle, I lost my teebird so I picked the eagle up, I like it. It is very stable out of the box. I have been using it instead of the pred, which should extend the preds life a bit.
The cyclone probable gets the most throws off the tee, very predictable, line adjustable, and like further said does what a roc can do only longer and faster. All real winner! :)

Would a cyclone and a teebird be overlapping?

I can throw the avengers 350 consistently and the eagle right up there with them.... now that makes me wonder whats the point of the Avengers :?

Hmm... I may need to rethink this set up

If you can throw your Cyclone straight I would see no need for a teebird. If not you may want to try one.

For me the DX teebird is good for nice subtle lines...straight drives with a soft left fade or even no fade, calm hyzers with good carry, smooth anny's without any fade, etc. Not the best for S-curves or strong sweeping hyzers.

Having 2 fairway drivers in the bag is not a bad thing. I think a Cyclone and Teebird are good compliments for each other; a Teebird for long straight shots thrown flat, and Cyclones in various conditions for everything else.
