Need help with an overstable driver.

Right but no one said anything about the SOLF and Pred being TOO fast to me. It was explained that if I had decent D go with OLF/Pred if I was more average D go Banshee. I'm not complaining here, just making an observation for the sake of gathering more info.

Did you say you prefer slow discs? Or do you not throw far? My golf D is 375 and MAx D is 400. I still prefer the slower discs. I just feel it's much easier to shape their flights and they are more forgiving.

I didn't say I preferred either slow or fast. My D is close to yours. When I posted folks simply said: if you have sub ~300 D, go Banshee and if you have over 330-350 go the other route.

I'm just wondering if I missed something there.

What about a whippet? How does is compare to a firebird? Will it be as long? Is a whippet just like an older version of the firebird?

Yeah, I'd say its close to a shorter FB. Maybe a tad bit more overstable with a tad less glide

Dang! I'm looking for a longer fire bird that needs less power. I guess I still need to get used to my firebird. I used it a few times today and was sort of shocked that I couldn't seem to get it more than about 300ft I guess I'm not used to throwing a very overstable disc.

I heard 150 Flicks are pretty flyable, what do those compare to?

They are real fast. All but one of the ones I've thrown have too much high speed turn, especially in the wind.

Nope, he just asked for something slower. IMO, he'd get better performance out of a faster disc wiht only loosing very little control, but choosing something slower won't hurt him at all, he just won't quite get the distance he could be. He seems OK with that.

Very very fast, one of the fastest discs out there. At 150 its more useful as a max D/moderately overstable driver as it does get squirrely in a headwind.

I still say a Z-Crush would be a great choice...

sounds like an eagle-x or possibly a lightweight z-pred.
