I grip the same and i measured the section and it is 17 mm from the outermost joint line to the outermost of the two perpendicular lines of the middle joint. That is the the part that counts more gripping wise because when you curl the finger the innermost line in the middle joint gets tucked in by the flesh in the inner and middle part of the index finger. I imagine people have different shapes of the fingers so those two lines in my middle joint might be different or non existing in other people.
The only difference is that even with the rear of the discs in the thumb joint and the front in between the middle and ring fingers the area of the inner section of the index finger that remains on top of the flight plate is smaller with a Boss vs a Stalker which were the first two discs i had available to grip. The beauty of the Wiggins grip is that the small size of the index finger does not come in the way of orienting even the widest winged discs heavily nose down in the grip. Because the index finger is not in the way of the wing of the disc so you can get the front way more down than with a power grip.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
