Think it'd be interesting or dumb? I was thinking showing some up close views of the disc rim, amount of dome etc., giving a brief overview of flight characteristics, then showing some clips of the disc in action over a variety of lines, distances and throwing styles. Maybe have some condensed pros and cons list thrown in there somewhere too, and specifically mention the weight/plastic/wear of the test discs for that mold.
I think it could work. I'm going to have a number of these (starting with Discmania).
Longer text reviews, plus shorter video reviews with on the course demos. It's tough to appeal to a lot of people. New players probably won't want to sit through a 10 minute discussion on stability and line-shaping, but that would definitely help a lot of people here.

I used to disc with Stone all the time. He's a Eugene local. No idea he had videos up. I helped him with the local club for a while too. The guy reminds me of a politician (he used to be a car salesman.) He's definitely well known around Eugene.
I've been thinking about the same thing. I think it would also be nice if someone with good physics and aero-vehicle performance knowledge to talk about how disc shapes affect flight etc. and yes that guy from "expert" village is definitely lacking.
I wonder if we can get a new subforum going, or maybe have this added to the old main site.
