The fastest recorded throw

Postby JR » Sun Jan 12, 2014 10:16 pm

European champion Simon Lizotte from Germany at 4:41:

I had nothing to do with this video so i made a new thread.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

That video said it no longer works. But on Simon Lizotte's ask me anything video it shows him messing around at the end with some power shots. Skip ahead to 22:30.

He throws 86 mph at the end :o . Also shows lower speed throws which he makes look like an approach shot where I'm sure I undergo full exertion to achieve a measly 60 mph. How fast did he throw in that last vid?

144 kph which at least at the time was the highest recorded speed ever. A 360 thrown angled down toward the ground. So not a real golf throw or even a distance throw.
