While not a video, this is a picture from me throwing on what I believe is hole 7 at Söhnstetten during a practice round.

While its a little hard to tell, it looks like my pinkie isnt on the rim. Which is kind of odd.

Yeah, I can see that as well...although i think the majority of snap is created b/w the forefinger and thumb, so if it's working for ya, I wouldn't sweat it too hard. I don't push down very much with my pinkie during my grip at all.

Pinky is used for support mainly. If you are physically uncomfy or cannot, it's nothing to worry about.
