I repeated the story for reference, but for the record I don't believe it. If there was a sponsor willing to underwrite the PDGA tour in the early 90's, why would Dave have even known about it? He was just a player then. I think it is one of those urban disc golf myths...like how every understable driver supposedly has a Leopard bottom.
