direction of throw

Postby derekg » Sat Aug 26, 2006 6:03 am

I read the discussion on the grips posted recently. Went to the grips instructional article and went out and tried it. It definitely helped me distance wise but I found the disc flying about 40 degrees right (RHBH) of my normal direction of aim. I assume this is because my grip is much tighter and only occurs with my drives. Do I have to make an adjustment in the direction of my run up or am I doing something wrong? I have learnt a great deal from youall thank you

this is indicative of an early pull or not getting your weight forward.

Thank you for your comments. I should have read the post regarding "disc goes to the right". You describe the possible problems there. I tried yesterday to not allow my shoulders to overly rotate and that seemed to help. Will work with it more today and see what happens. Thanks again
