Just got a lot more distance, wondering why.

Tonight I was throwing my discs in what seemed like a normal way. but I was repeatedly getting 50 feet more distance both ways. Once I got 100 feet past my previous average. Maybe some timing issue just clicked, I'm not sure... (previous average was 330, new record is 430, previous record was 350) I will post a video, maybe even get more help.

Ps I was using a SPD, sidewinder, wraith, boss (that I made understable) orc, stalker. I also was able to get my midrange (a very well beat in roc) to go 300ish (usually stuck at 200)

Come to think of it, I did a few drills working with my putters, trying to get rid of any OAT, maybe this helped?

Much thanks to all those that have posted any instructional articles, i have read at least 400 pages of this forum recently, maybe some of it started to stick... Thanks for the advice for practicing driving with a putter, (I don't remember who was advocating this, but it just may have been what helped me

Basically everyone here that's been a long time member has drilled with putter driving for the better. Better snap or less OAT?

The turn on the sidewinder seemed slightly delayed, so i'm guessing better snap

Don't you just love those times when you're out playing and everything clicks, and you can throw over 400' without any problems? That has happened a number of times for me, but then it goes away again. If I could only keep that feeling around all the time...

Driving putters also helped me with some issues. Better snap and less OAT can both result from driving putters. Without better snap, they won't go very far. With too much OAT, they will flip over hard.

The over 400 went away today... but I was able to keep 360ish easily....

I'll have to go out and drill with putters some more...

I threw 2 rounds with the putter. Then went out and threw 2 consecutive even rounds! The putter practice definately helps hone your arm.

I'm going to make it a point to start doing this regularly even on the long courses. I've heard too many wonder stories about what it has done for people's game.

Are most of you doing this throwing the putter that you putt with or do you throw different putters off the tee? I was thinking of just playing with my JK and beadless Aviar for something understable. I figure you'd want to throw a understable putter to help clean up the form rather than use a more overstable one.

Thoughts on this?

I've usually gone with my putting putter, but that's because my putting putter and driving putter are the same (ION, Wizards before that). If I take more than one putter I'll use the one that best fits the hole.
