A question about OAT

When throwing cleanly, if the disc is understable, it should stay flat for a second then begin to turn as the gyroscopic force is reduced (due to the exponential rate of decay of the spin rate, right), correct? If throwing with OAT the disc will flip right at the start, correct? I'm just trying to decide how cleanly i'm throwing. I can get my halex putter to around 300' on a flat line, so I don't think I am too bad.

I don't claim any knowledge of physics or science but OAT is just flutter. If you are throwing a putter 300 feet on a flat, clean line then you are not fluttering very much. Your disc never lies. If it flies flat and clean then your released it flat and clean.

Flutter costs you distance and stability. So with too much flutter a disc will start flipping (turning over, anhyzering) right off your fingertips.

Yeah. If you have decent snap the flight path of an understable disc looks like a question mark, as the spin delays the HSS part of the flight.
