Balance drills helped me build a better putt. I'm guessing that they are hitting low. If so it could be a transfer of weight issue. A simpler, down 1-up 2 routine could help or possibly practing putts on slIghtly uneven footing, such as socks.
A focus on timing with the back foot may help take focus away from the basket and on form.
Ill admitt that at the end of practice sessions ill close my eyes to putt from the main spots- 90's martial art movie style.
