Finding a Teacher

Postby tuckerjt07 » Mon Jun 30, 2014 11:15 pm

How does one go about finding a teacher and/or clinics? I've tried the drills and I'm getting nowhere and really feel that face to face help would be the best bet for me.

If you can find someone who is good at throwing you could just ask for tips and have that person look at your throws. Maybe if you can play a round with that person it would give him/her a chance to see how you usually play. Have you asked from local clubs and disc golf stores if they know of someone who is giving clinics. Touring pros give clinics and some are on Youtube. You can always post a video of yourself throwing in the video critique section here.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
