Over the last few weeks it is almost like I've forgotten how to throw. I am throwing all of my shots to the right unless I aim drastically to the left with my right shoulder. My shots are also all being released with some degree of hyzer despite a conscious to release the disc flatand more often than not higher than I intend. I have somehow forgotten how to throw a straight shot or with any control and it is incredibly frustrating. I am having this problem with all my shots, but the hyzer release and height problem is lessen when throwing my mids and putters. However no matter what the shot I am throwing it to the right.
I know this is a pretty vague description of my problem, but I am really frustrated with the regression over the past month of so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I may try and take a video tomorrow that I can post too.

99% certain you are starting your pull before your plant foot hits the ground.
rhythm should be more like 1-2-3-pull
yours is likely more like 1-2-pull/3.

Does 1,2,3 refer to the steps of the x-step?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm going to go out and pay attention pulling through once my plant foot is down after work today.
When my plant foots hits the ground should I be at the maximum point for my reach back and begin to pull at that moment?

that's not overly critical.
some pros actually do not peak their reach back until after their foot hits the ground.
about 70% of players start their pull too early.
if you wait until your legs start the rotation you will have to start coming forward.
too late of a start will lead to an early release.

Of the videos on the site, whose would be a good example of someone whose reachback peaks while they are planting their foot as oppose to someone's whose peaks after the plant?

nope. just know i've seen it when watching dg dvd's.
i've worked with it a few times. it helps timing a bit but is less consistent in terms of accuracy.

Slowing down my run up and making sure to pull after my foot was planted helped somewhat there were still problems with my throw. I was still having difficulty with accuracy and somehow have lost a good deal of snap over the month.
Its back to the practice field after work today.

two things.
1) it sounds like you aren't getting visual contact before the rip and finishing focused down the target line.
2) it sounds like you may have the disc too far off your body as it comes through on the pull.

Unfortunately, this happens to me every couple of weeks. When it does, the thing that always snaps me out of it is to do field practice with my mids throwing for accuracy only. Somehow doing this brings my snap back too. Works every time (for me).

I feel like I do a pretty good job of focusing on the target and visualizing my line. I don't aim at the basket and instead pick a point I want the disc to pass through before it begins to fade.
I was experimenting yesterday and found my shots were slightly better actually when I pulled through a little bit farther away from my chest than I was for some reason.
So i'm not really sure what the problem is. If I can get a video taken of a few of my shots would you mind looking at them and giving me some advice?
Thanks
