Superfeet Insoles

Postby RoomTenONine » Wed Jan 07, 2009 7:39 pm

I thought I remembered someone swearing by these things on here. I'd like to get a pair, but can't decide on the blue or green cut-to-fit models. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't think I was the one, but I can be the new guy that swears by them!

I have some tearing in the small muscle fibers in the arch of my right foot, feels pretty much like a bone spur. Being on my feet all day (like I am for work) makes my foot sore, to the point that I limp. After a two round tourney I usually ice my foot down. Doc says there's no good solution, other than stretching it out constantly, icing it when it hurts and wearing supportive insoles.

I use the greens and love them. Seriously, my feet hurt about 75% less than with the standard insoles. The only other brand I tried was Yaktrax, which work pretty well also. Not quite as nice as Superfeet, but cheaper, and pretty damn comfy still.

Do you wear the greens just for DG or also in regular shoes?

Have you tried some custom orthotics? I got some a few weeks ago, and it's amazing the difference. Feet, ankles, knees and hips feel better...I would have said it was BS before I got mine. :D

Just for DG. My work buys us Red Wing boots which have pretty damn nice insoles in them.
If I'm not at work or on the course I'm probably wearing flip-flops or Crocs; which is probably not helping the sore foot situation.

I haven't. I keep thinking about it, but just haven't made the effort to get it done. Again,

I had some recent foot trauma that forced me to go to a podiatrist... when I mentioned flip flops and crocs, hae scowled at me, and told me, quite firmly I must add, that they should only ever be worn on the beach.

Flip flops are pretty much all I wear in the summer... I am not sure how I am going to open my beer bottles next summer with out them. Image

Wow never seen those before. It would be bad if it was dark out and stepped in some dog crap and didn't realize it.

I have those too! Awesome!
Just watch where you step, that's all. How often do you step in dog shot in your regular shoes?

My brother has the ones with the flask. One busted after about a year, but we're not little dudes...

OK so you guys are saying to get a pair of insoles, but make sure they can open a bottle, hide single malt beverages and NO MATTER WHAT avoid poop unless I'm on the beach.
