I am looking at buying some quality hiking shoes for disc golf. I was trying to decide whether to get a low or a mid top.
My ankle sometimes hurts and I was wondering if the mid would be better, but I am partial to the look of the low top.
I am curious to see what others use.
Thanks

I use low tops because I use Trail Runner shoes for DG. Haven't found any high top Trail Runners yet that are worth a squirt.

I just played a round in my new Keen Newport Trails. I liked them pretty well but I'll hold off my choice until the spring. But I'm going to give a mid a thumbs up. I think they'll be quite useful in the spring muck and late fall. They even did pretty good in the snow we've had lately. Only a few big drifts where I got some snow around the ankle but you you go up to your knees that's probably expected.
