Ok i know there is a thread all about salamon shoes from north face. and i would love to get some but 110$ is out of my range so i was wondering if anyone knows of any good shoes for disc golf that are like 60$ or below. Right now i am wearing Nike Air force ones. but am looking to get some better griping shoes. So any advice on Good but cheap disc golf shoes would be GREAT!

I put
www.steepandcheap.com as my home page and just waited for some decent shoes to go on there. After a few weeks I got a pair of good shoes for $50.00 and my feet have been happy ever since.

I have 2 pairs of Merrells, one with Gortex and one without. I got both off ebay for less than $50 each, brand new. I wear a size 15, so anything else should be fairly easy to find.

I've played 3 rounds in my new La Sportiva trail running shoes (came from Steep & Cheap Friday). They are every bit as comfy as my Adidas, and I may even like them as much as my Salomons (they're a little on the ugly side though). I only paid like 35 bucks for them. La Sportiva was a common brand in Germany when I lived there, but I never see them around here.

I just bought some Nike Air Alvord VI's (trail running shoes) a couple of weeks ago and find them comfy and quite grippy. Nice tread pattern. $49.99 at Academy or Sports Authority.

ice had good luck at Ross lately but it is hit or miss. Sometimes they have good trail shoes and sometimes they dont. But they are almost always under 30 bucks.

I've got you all beat- my current DG shoes (some type of Nevados hiking cross-trainer mix) cost 5.99 at the Goodwill. I like to check around at the various thrift stores around Seattle every month or so and I've found some pretty nice shoe deals there.
Probably not the response the average American is looking for, though. You should stay patriotic and "boost the economy".
