Probably not the response the average American is looking for, though. You should stay patriotic and "boost the economy".

Goodwill is always a great place to find deals. I go to school still and my entire place is furnished with stuff from thrift stores and most people find it hard to belive when they come over.

Weird...I bought a pair of 11.0 even though my previous pair were 11.5...and these are definetely bigger. Turns out it's a good thing, as I now have some orthotics I want to use with them. Wish I had bought 2 pair.

I bought a pair of boots from walmart thinking hey if i get 2 months out of them for $20 i was golden. Damn things have lasted a year and a half. Water proof, but alittle heavy on the feet, so i only use them now in the winter/fall when the snow and water are really bad.

How many of you bastards have aircraft carriers for feet?
I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. They never have closeout 7.5-8's.

I call BS on this one. Sierra Trading Post always has the wee sizes (and often has the larger sizes, too). The problem is if you are average, like me. Try finding a closeout 10.5 or 11.
