I clicked this thread instinctively thinking it was about the Latitude 64 Pain, but I think I have some advice for dealing with pain in general. It may not be quite the remedy you're looking for, but I find taking my mind off of it is one of the most effective ways for me to deal with pain. As long as you can occupy your thoughts with other things (preferably something you can get deeply engaged in), whether it be video games, reading, sleeping, you should find some indirect relief and allow the time pass a little faster.
