5-disc Battle Golf

I have been playing this with a buddy recently and I gotta say it is really fun. We allow the other person to use stolen discs also, which adds a whole new element. I tend to just bring some wizards and buzzes, while he needs at least 1 or two drivers because he has a sick flick. A few times I have stolen a driver at just the right time, like on a big open hole or a real steep hyzer drive. The strategy involved is the best part. Also, we did a 3 disc challenge with three people and that kinda worked. One of the people isn't a steady golfer so I took his driver on the first hole and he was done for.

We played this in our Winter Fun League last night and I was a little bit torn as to which 5 discs to chose before the round started. Choosing discs for a 5-disc round sounds simple enough, but knowing that I could very well lose some had me putting some more thought into it.

Anyway, I wound up rolling with:

2 Avairs (DX ching, and Champion)
z Buzzz
Star TL
Champion Orc

We played Battle Golf again last night, and I lost again. I had 4 disc in my bag after 18 holes, but I was down to just two at one point.

I rolled with a Medium Voodoo, a star Cro, trashed dx Roc, Star TL, and Champ Orc.

I learned a valuable lesson though: If I find myself playing a winter round with only one putter, make sure it is not a dinner plate. That M Voodoo rolls away from the basket like nobody's business!

Oh, and bring more Rocs, people like to take them away from yo uas fast as they can - lol

I figure I can drive a VP to 300-320 or so so the comets I can use for an anny shot. I can flick a VP pretty well to so I think I could make it with those two molds. I think even 5 VPs would work.

2 Eagle-x... 1 seasoned/worn dx and 1 new dx

Throwing a midrange is probably the least consistent part of my game. I love Eagles, Predators and throwing putters.
