fund raisers

i know a lot of people who play disc probably belong to a club or a group of some sort, and i was wondering if you guys could help me out. we need ideas for fund raisers(not just tournys), and i was wondering what are some good ones that you guys have done or heard of. thanks for the help guys

we do a 50/50 drawing......also a basket of cheet....all the local players donate a bottle of booze....then you sell tickets for that basket......easy way to get $1000 plus!

raffle
basket throw off(buy a traveler and have people throw at it all day for:
1 throw for 1 dollar
3 for 2
8 for 5.
have the top ten ctp's throw in a final and give the traveler to the winner.

putting competition:
1 basket 3-4 stations most in wins.

I was thinking raffle, but I know its similar to a tourney but weely random draw doubles is a good way to raise some funds, you could break it down like so:
10$ to play
5 goes to weekly purse
5 goes to club
mabey even add a buck for ace pot to tempt people into coming out. you get 10-15 guys out a week thats 50-75$ extra weekly income. (I suggest this because I almsot perfer weekly dubs for cash over tourney, something about winning money instead of prizes sounds nice.... and dont say I should go pro, I would like to make it to am worlds next year first )

I think hes suggesting you doing a raffle for booze. and to boost profits you ask for the booze to be donated. Could even offer a free ticket for people who dontate a bottle to encourage donations also.

You get a bottle of booze from everyone in your club...


Then sell raffle tickets @ like $5 a piece....with a chance to win a $#itload of booze.....it'll cost everyone in the group maybe 15-25 bux a bottle but the return could be tremendous...
