Gallagher went on a big rant the other week about comedians dumbing down their acts over the past few years.

i heard an extended interview with Gallagher on XM a while back. *FASCINATING* . there might be audio of it from a "gallagher xm rawdog interview" search. anyway, the guy is by far the most psychotically egomaniacal person i've ever heard. made me feel great about myself. went on and on about how he's arguably the best comedian ever, how untalented a (named) slew of comedians are, and how he's beyond PhD in sub-particle physics. went into detail about how Carrot Top stole his act, so he licensed his act to his bro to tour the smaller venues to cock-block Carrot Top's tour, then how he had to sue his bro and how his entire family hates him. every sentence peppered with how great he is. just amazingly deep psychosis. i've seen a shit-ton of Gallagher, even a live show as a kid, and this was the funniest shit he's ever said. it was enough to wonder (shortly) if it was an ironic gag. but no, he's truly insane over himself and will demonstrate at length. bitter does not even begin to describe him.

it's DGCR on crack. and yes, it's a bunch of teenagers with a few 20s. you really should check it out, it's the worst DG discussion ever ever ever. before DGR, i tried marketing/fielding MILL over there and it was pure shit. they're as uninformed as gallagher is psychotic.

I was trying to track down the transcript from the rant I referenced earlier but you really summed it up nicely. It was essentially the same thing about how great he is and how carrot top sucks along with a whole bunch of other comedians. It was really bizarre because at first I was like "why are they interviewing Gallagher? When was he last relevant?" and then after I read the whole thing it changed to "How is this guy not getting interviewed all the time? He is pure-strain crazy gold."
