Hate is a strong word, but I dislike the Classic Roc, and Z-Plastic :) Oh and the Quarter-K was a waste of money.

I <3 all Rocs, no favoritism here. I can't say I hate any discs as of now, the archangel for me is a better catfood dish, but it does a damn good job at it.

as far as straight dropping putters, I think the birdie is the best one into the wind.

but I like the X putt'r most for straight dropping putters (but i dont use straight dropping putters)

Birdie = junk. It should come with Happy Meals.

Archangel ROCKS. I don't know why it gets such a bad rap :( To each his own.

I'd like to join the Birdie haters. It's one terrible putter. I used one for a while, and while I liked how it would drop in the basket when hitting the chains high and to the right, I got sick of watching it roll 30 feet after a low putt dinged off the basket.

Aviar P&A for life!

If there is a poor putter discussion, for me it begins and ends with the Arrow. Also Im not a fan of the Ching discs with the thumbtrack, seems to stick on my hand too much.

Its a disc you learn to like with high winds, and a disc you learn to love once you start practicing with it and trying different things on the course. Can you say Scooby putts?

Hater discs...

Postby Texas Made » Fri Sep 01, 2006 2:16 pm

You may slap me, but Star Wraiths. I just flat dont have any luck with this disc. I love the Pro Wraith.... It seems to have a rim a little closer to the Orc. I'm not fond of the Birdie either, but I know a girl that plays that bangs putts all the time with it..
I guess it depends on personl style.... I love the classic roc, but a few of my friends hate it.

i find star wraiths to be way more overstable than a pro wraith. id throw one for big hyzers but theres no point in carrying it b/c a pro will do those for me too.
