just got mine today, the format was nice for something different, an i believe it was shot in 16X9, and not 4X3 like some of the other ones. Def worth a watch.

I liked it alright, but have some issues with it. Redhawk is a great course with beautiful fairways and awesome par 4s and 4s and this DVD has a lot of BIG drives, but I am suprised and saddened there hasnt been any change to the no replay / slowmo policy...it would have been tremendous. It's also disappointing the banter is usually being talked over and isnt prominently featured (the only reason you can even hear it is because its bleeding through Billy's mike). The camera angles were okay, but because the course is so open there are a lot of times the disc is against the sky and its hard to see...and it is no where near the quality of some youtube videos from our favorite Fins. Although I was weary of the match play format at first, I actually really liked how it encouraged the players to 'go for it'. I liked Billy's commentary as usual, but Barry was great. He, as always, drops a lot of gems and really highlights some of the more subtle aspects of the action. It's a worthy addition, but it doesnt set any new standards for quality.

Clash VII(Redhawk) was a huge disappointment. It might be the most boring disc golf dvd I have ever owned(And I own all of the Clash series dvd's). I would probably put this one at the bottom of the Clash list. I am sorry...but that course was boring as hell to watch them play on. If you are thinking about purchasing this one...save yourself some money. Or go and buy the BRP one if you haven't already.
If the object of disc golf were to hit trees, I'd be 1100 rated.

I agree, it's probably a cool course to play, but you can't really see it on DVD. I didn't like the format they played in either, match play that switched after so many holes. I like watching teams better, one guy plays safe, the other gets jiggy with it. I think the camera crew had some new guys on it too, there were a couple of shots where you didn't see the disc land, or there was a bad angle for the entire shot.

Hornet's nest was painful to watch too, but the camera work showed both the shots and the course better, IMO.

I would rather watch Hornets Nest than Redhawk any day. The first three times I tried to watch Redhawk I fell asleep it was so boring. I did however make it through the 4th time I watched it. I have to agree with FlipFlat on the camera work of Redhawk...not good. Then again, it was filmed almost 2 years ago.

I've seen them all except for the first one. (Anybody got a copy they'd sell me?). I thought Redhawk was a letdown in that it was filmed 2 years ago (albeit arguably at Feldberg's peak), was kinda boring, and the camera work and sound were just not good. Really loved BRP though, and didn't mind Hornet's Nest at all really, I thought the worst shot format was damn interesting. Am I the only one who didn't like Vallarta?

There are good players, and courses I want to see them play, but I can't decide whether or not to buy the DVDs without hearing some feedback from someone who's seen them. I did that with the Clash Hornet's nest, and I wish I'd skipped that one.

I just picked up the Clash at Blue Ribbon Pines, and I thought it was fantastic. The matchup of 14 world championships (Climo and Schultz) against the kids (Locastro and Leiviska) made for a great dynamic. On top of that, its all best shot format on a 27 hole, par 86 course - so there's lots of golf. Multiple camera angles on every hole, all around great footage. Billy Crump is his usual self, but there is some great commentary by Timmy Gill, a Minnesotan Open player and the course designer, and Feldberg even pops in for a bit.

All around A++.

Haven't seen Hornet's Nest, just wanted to recommend this one to everyone.
