Disc golf makes me hit my girlfriend

Since I have the disc golf bug (as do you if you are taking the time to read this) I often find myself thinking of disc golf as I begin to fall asleep. While in that magical land between consciousness and dreams I lately have been practicing my drive. The problem is that sometimes my arm actually does the motion, resulting in me basically backhanding my girlfriend in her arm or back (thankfully I haven't gotten her face).

The problem has been fixed, now I simply sleep on the other side of the bed. The best part is that she knew what was happening before I did, when she told me to stop sleep golfing!

I wish my subconscious would practice putting instead, because that is what really needs work, and it would hurt a lot less when my hand hits the wall.
Similar experiences anyone?

I do the same thing but my arm doesn't finish the motion. I just kinda wake myself up making the shoulder rotation. but I don't do it quite as much as before. I guess form changes affect sleep golfing

When I was 16 I would bag groceries in my sleep. I worked at Winn Dixie at the time, and I can remember myself sitting up, bunching up my sheets in a ball in front of me as if I was bagging them as groceries. I would then hand them to the imaginary person in front of me, say "have a nice day", lay back down and then say "It's too damn early to work"
I'd wake up later and actually remember doing it. Lol

I have not (yet?) started acting out disc golf dreams, but my remarkably tolerant spouse has had her sleep disturbed by an occasional volleyball spike or water polo skip shot.

this went on for a while when i lived with my ex and didn't get hardly any golf time...

any dream that could possibly move to or happen in an outdoor setting would turn to a DG dream... i'd move through my environment by throwing a disc to the area i wanted. i'd do a RHBH follow-through from a resting position, right arm off the side of the bed. i fell off a couple times.. high bed, nothing to catch yourself on.

summary: any dream, when it reached the outdoors, would result in a sleep throw
happy epilogue: i play a lot more and rarely dream about frisbee

Wow, it never occurred to me to use disc golf as an excuse for domestic abuse. Backhand my girl and then blame it on practicing my golf game while I sleep.

I don't throw in my sleep that I know of, but I do go to sleep playing holes in my head nearly every night.
