Glow discs

Could anyone tell me how long Discraft's Photon glo and Gateway's glo plastic last? Because I am in despret need of practice, but I am busy in the day.

Also, I heard that Innova Glow stinks. Is that true?

As well, if both Discraft's and Gateway's last at least 20 min. I have found the glow Buzz and Wizard, but I still would like a driver. Any suggestions?

1. Glow varies from disc to disc even within the same mold/run.
2. 15-20 min. is going to be the best you'll probably get. Most won't do that well.
3. No matter how bright your disc is glowing it's not usually going to be enough to show up if their is any other ambient light from streetlights, the moon, or just general light pollution. Maybe if you had a private course way out in the country on a moonless night your glow disc might work as intended. But you'll still need some kind of light source to hit it with every 10 min. or so.

Yeah, you'd almost be better off using regular discs in areas with lots of ambient light. I tried glow discs once and you couldn't see them at all. If it was perfectly dark you'd see them, but we live too close to the city.

K-dog:

photon is usually 5-10 minutes on a full charge

innova glow is usually like 1-2 minutes on a full charge

my favorite glow discs are thanks the photon glow wasp, talon, and challenger. the wasp and talon are discontinued but not too hard to track down.

walmart - get the thill bobber lights and some 3m thick tape so it can hold down the light good.

About $5 or less for plenty of tape and 1-2 batteries/lights. They cut on and off and last about 30 or so hours.

Guess glow discs aren't worth it. Might try that Quest discs when I get some money. I will look for little glow stinks and just tape them to the disc.

Do you own Candy plastic disks? If so you could use a light that is taped to the bottom of the disk, it will last for hours. You can buy them from just about anywhere. I make my own.

Well, I have a few Champ TeeBirds and I am getting a Z Buzz soon.

P.S. I got some glow sticks and they worked great with my Champion and Z discs!

again, i'd recommend the bobber lights with some tape instead of glow sticks.

You get 4 glow sticks for $3 I think, or you get 1 light for about the same. However, the glowsticks are dead after one round, the light will probably give you about 20-25 rounds.

I carry the bobber lights with a couple glowsticks for backup.

You can also get the bobber lights online in amber and green should you want variety. However, they come out to about $5/light with shipping (which sucks).

look on ebay for an auction or just send a message to the guys at LSdiscs (huge ebay store) They uslually do a multiple light deal and they break out to less than 2bucks each with shipping.

Belive it or not, but I can get three glow stinks that last about 1 hour a piece for $1.00.
