Postby K-Dog 19 » Tue Jan 16, 2007 11:09 am

We know we all have them, but how many do you have and what molds are they? I am talking about our collections of rare collector discs and I have:

Dx Pegasus
Dx Gremlin

and I am in the prossess of getting:

Limited run X Wasp
and a Dx Gopher
Once upon a time a Monster ran into a mob of Avengers, they attacked him with their pet Leopard, the Buzzz was all around the city that even the Wizards had to use ear plugs. :D

gopher I would call rare, the rest not so much.

I have only ever laid eyes upon the fabled gopher once and if you find one unthrown you da man. (not that anyone will want it but its cool to have)

2 Stiff whamo 86 molds circa 1984
Discraft Cruiser
Discraft Phantom plus
"Sit Ubu Sit" Super Puppy
1989 Worlds players package custom stamped stingray
Aviar XD circa 1987
Rainbow foil stamped Air Jordan Roc ( my favorite disc)

I used to have many, many (60 or so) collectibles with various custom stamps but sold nearly all of them on eBay when I was out of work.

for some reason i don't think the dragon, hydra, raven, or viking are going to be worth anything more than MSRP.

Collecting discs (the unthrown variety) has never appealed to me. I've had Rocs that people tried to convince me to stop throwing or sell on ebay. I don't see the appeal.....I have no desire ot collect stuff anymore. I used to collect a lot of junk when I was younger....doesn't appeal to me now. I buy discs to throw...and I've worn out my old Rocs!

People hate innova for having discontinued the viking. I think that will be worth some later on. The raven was fairly popular and should be worth something later. As for the dragon and hydra I kind of agree with you, but I keep them just for the sake of my obsession with discontinued discs. :D
