The Good: Our club is not-for-profit this year.

The Bad: There's still a foot of snow on the local courses.

Good: Frank noticed that my follow through was crappy
Bad: missing Swinging DB's this weekend
Ugly: After seeing the results of following through semi-properly, Frank talked me into registering for the Crosstown Classic.

Good: Drew metal with a sweet Comet shot today. Threw -8 for 9 holes.
Bad: Drunken political discussions.
Ugly: Hipster bartenders with bad haircuts and attitudes.

Good: Played 45 holes today, with lots of extra shots. With that many tosses, statistically speaking, a few were likely to be good. The Leopard and Roc held some beautiful lines, but the highlight was holing out from 100’ by flicking a Roc around a clump of trees.

Bad: I can flick without hurting my shoulder, or I can flick for distance, but not both. :x

Ugly: After a winter of dedicated inactivity, it feels like I have been beaten vigorously with a stout club.

Good: Playing both the Am Crosstown and the Carolina Clash. Finally pretty comfortable with the aviars after a bad first day at the tourney this weekend with them.

bad: having to give up wizards

ugly: The fact I have to work instead of play disc golf.

good: finally got to play a full round. With school, work, and practice I only get in 2 rounds a week. My drives off the box are reaching the next level, and I have 100% confidence I can give my self a putt on any box within 450.

bad: unfortunately my putting has been a total wreck. Despite practicing every day, I somehow managed to lose my confidence and feel on my stroke. I started tweaking to many things and have lost control of just about every putt.

ugly: shot a 61 at steeplechase. missed 4 birdie putts inside 15ft!!!! had 3 upshots/drives with an aviar skip past the basket and into water which added another 6 strokes because I missed the comeback putts from the water. I lost 10 freaking strokes on simple putts and upshots. Really does prove that the short game wins. I am 99% sure I need to start approaching with rhyno's again, these aviars like to skip and can soar even with nose up manipulation.

haha. well, I really enjoy my aviars off the box. I just can't dial them in on approaches as well. The pro-rhyno is much easier to control for those touch shots inside 200ft. It really is just a disc selection problem on the approaches. I'll let you know if I get into the Yeti's, I will probably have some non-driving kc's for trade. I am somewhat scared about how the Yeti's will consistently turn out since the plastic is a blend of rpro and dx, the blend will probably change with every run
