Best disc I ever lost

Postby domromer » Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:06 pm

Yesterday it was windier than hell. I decided to go play a round of putter golf. I'm on hole 4, which is 450ft straight ahead, I crank the wizard like a bastard and it turns over and slams into the backyard of a house along the course. The house had a tall fence and due to the lax gun laws in oregon, I was not about to climb over. The owners of the house were not home so I left a note with my number.

She called my later that night and said she would put the disc out in front of her house in the morning, she also mentioned that she had some other frisbees that had been thrown into her yard and did I want them, sure i said.

Well I rock up to her house today, to find a 2ft pile of discs. 24 in total...Jackpot!!! I gotta lose my wizard more often!

haha.. the ball licking photo...

That is a pretty nice score. I found a Shark today with a chunk missing out of the flight plate. Give it 90 deg of hyser and it made a great roller.

when I was in KS for the tourney at emporia, i was trying to throw a big D line w/ a nice right to left tailwind. Me still figuring out how discs fly 5000 feet lower than home put a bit of hyzer on an Inferno watched it pop up a whole 45 degrees to the left of my target, climb to about 45' and sail perpendicular to myself right, right right for about 350' and never come home. after crossing a fence, a street and another fence SLAM into a little tool shed. I walk over, not wanting to jump the little fence, because we were asked not to, and being a pdga event i didnt want to push the td around. Turns out the nice old lady inside heard the bang, came over got my disc for me and wanted to chat. She said it happens all the time, but that was hard to believe becuase she lives 100' off the fairway across a street, over 350' away from the tee. . . she was nice though, and i got my disc back. But not a 2' stack of them with it.
