Maybe, but Bob from Duluth isn't going to be thrilled about his tax money going to support some new city disc parks either now. Could be that Bob and his drunk highschool football buddies are going to go rip some baskets out at that local course to show those damn disc hippies what they think of the sport.

Yeah alright, your right about everything. Nothing bad will ever come from somebody talking bad about disc golf; It has absolutely no effect on the sport whatsoever. I'm sorry I dirtied your forum.

Adam Zapple on WHAK just made fun of Brett Favre. I'm immediately going to go seek out & smash 18 bowls of gumbo.

We could probably check to see what happens when sports get criticized on sports radio in the past. Lets check and see.

'listens to hundreds of hours of sports radio

Ok I'm back and I've checked up on what happens when other sports get trashtalked on sports radio. It turns out nothing happened. Probably because sports radio is dumb and has no bearing on anything.

You got me. My argument completely falls apart when you compare it to the similar small but growing sport of football in the United States. I wonder how that will effect all those folks out there that were considering checking out the NFL. Sucks for that small following of fans.

Yeah you are right, sports fans are so kind and levelheaded; just ask those friendly hockey fans in Vancouver.

I'm not saying it will end the world if someone talks shit, I'm saying that there will be some result and it's not likely positive. Maybe that person just never picks up a disc; not gonna break my heart. But maybe they could have been the next top pro, or the mayor of some small town who needs to look at a new course proposal. Big or small it still sucks a little bit in the end.

Thanx for being man enough to acknowledge Frank's & my pwnage of your obviously lame argument & general overall idiocy. That kind of realization - and the willingness to admit an epic failure - are the marks of an evolved personality. Cheers!

No problem. It appears that my comments aren't worthy of the mighty forum elites here so I'll take my disc golf discussions elsewhere. Best of luck DGR.

Man, you really are evolved. Self-awareness is quite a rare virtue.

Why, thank you for the admiration. A fine compliment, indeed. <blushes>

I'll take my disc golf discussions elsewhere.

Image May I suggest THIS FORUM as a place where your brand of thought will be immediately appreciated? You'll fit right in!

Hopefully Bob from Duluth & his drunk high school football buddies aren't reading this forum. They'll probably take our (well-deserved) ridicule of jaboc83 to heart & go vandalize the first short school bus they see.
