take a look at the event page, it's pretty impressive. it was a one day three round tournament with a 10 dollar entry fee and 5k payout fot first. 10th place got a free disc of their choice from either innova or discraft. with that ten dollar entry fee you got a night of camping. if you didn't stay the night, it was a free event. Avery Jenkins, Paul Ulibarri, David Wiggins Jr., Barry Schultz and Ken Climo were all there. i guess the other top pros didn't want a shot at a 5k payout for one day's work or because there was only a one day notice before the tournament started. here's the course's dgcr page http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3680 go to the bottom of the event's page to see who won. the winner shot an impressive an negative 77 over 81 holes in just one day.

i would probably fuck up congratulating him because i would be so nervous talking to such a godlike person. my voice would probably start cracking, i would be miss pronouncing words, and i would pee a little in my pants. i mean come on, he throws 500 backhand, ~430 forehand, is a sponsored innova pro, and sponsored by arizona tea just like arnold palmer.

he not only organized a 3 round pdga world championship in one day, he raised all 9770 dollars for the pay out, organized camping for up to 75 players, and created his own payout structure. on top of all that, he wins the tournament by one stoke besting climo's - 76 over 81 holes- most of them heavily wooded- and takes home the 5k and bragging rights. to top it all off he is nearly 16 and has been playing for only 4 years and played every course in ohio. playing all the course in ohio was only possible because "when your friends with pros like David wiggins jr and Barry schultz anything is possible."

no wonder why innvoa doesn't list him as a team member, he would make all the other pros look horrible. he is also organizing the the amatuer [sic] ldg world championship. the pdga will be in attendance for the championship along with several disc golf stores and a tshirt vendor. even though the pdga will be there, pdga membership is not required the championship. http://www.ohiodiscgolf.org/topics/discuss/1022/ this kid is a machine, i feel like such a loser right now. when i was 16 i bagged groceries.
