Anyone else getting completely owned by the heat wave right now?!?! I feel like I'd rather be playing in snow!

I'm fine in this heat but I'm also not a pansy.

Gonna be 101 here today, guess the small creek of sweat running across my taint will now be a river.

Says the man from Austin. Move to Houston and let me know what you think.

Heat isn't miserable. Humidity is.

It's the humidity part of it that's definitely worse; I seriously can't warm up putting without starting to sweat

Then I've been lied to by Austinites. I'm going to be there next Thursday - Sunday, and I was told it was 100 degrees of dry heat (at least compared to KC).

it really depends on the day honestly. austin changes every day. but don't expect a dry heat

stop by DiscNation on the weekend if you got time!

It's been hot and humid here, but I would take this over the -20 wind chills, ice and snow any day!

I always feel more comfortable throwing when I know where my balls are. Stuck to my leg counts.

+1 humidity.

I'm use to these kinds of summers. Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas have some serious heat with humidity. Some places have extremes of one or the other, we have both. Some days we would have 100+ days with humidity either at 100% or close to it. Heat with a little humidity is bearable, but heat with a lot of humidity is not.

On the flip side, living and working in those areas for a majority of my life has made Louisville's summer days a walk in the park.

I live in Northern Michigan, so it is not bad here. Summer highs in the 80's to low 90's and once in while triple digits.

We also have some of the cleanest, freshest water in the U.S. for cooling off in.

Downside is we get wicked winters.
