I do recall a few complaints emanating from Tejas when the local version of “winter” produces punishing, sub-50s temperatures.

Me, I love the heat. Slap on a dry-fit shirt, pack up lotsa liquid, find a nice, wooded course, and I’m a happy camper. Cold is fine, too. Leafless trees open up the fairways, and most folks stay at home.

Work and life are far greater impediments to playing time than weather.

Only thing that bothers me about heat is monkey butt. It sucks when you play a round in the heat and your doing the cowboy shuffle for the rest of the day, YMMV but Baltimore is a humid bitch.

I love the heat. I wrap myself up in a blanket in 100 + degree weather. A Sweat Lodge? No fool, I get the shivers.

I hate wisconsin, heat index of 110 today, then we'll get wind chills of -40 in the winter, we get the worst of both worlds, can't wait to graduate college and move.

110 in lawrence, ks an hour before league. don't worry, according to the weather.com "Through 11pm: Mostly sunny with temperatures falling sharply into the low to middle 80s."

108 here in Dallas for the second day in a row... over 100 for like 30 days straight. I don't mind the heat, but the extreme drought has caused some huge cracks in the ground, leaves are falling like it's the Fall and the grass is brown and makes a nice crunching sound under foot. Need some RAIN !
