In Austin July 21-24th, who wants to play golf

I'll be available to play somewhere in the morning on either the 21st or 22nd. I have no knowledge of any of the courses, so I'll leave it up to the locals to decide.

Anyone available either of those 2 days?

wish I could catch a round but it probably won't fit my schedule. I have class in the mornings in San Marcos. If you do pick a place/time I can try to swing by and play but it's a last minute kind of deal with my schedule.

Courses to play: depends on location you are staying
South Austin - Circle C, Metcenter
North Austin(Gtown/RR) - Wilco
East - Manor(East Metro)
West - Austin Bible Ridge

there are plenty of other choices but those 5 encompass everything there is about the Austin scene. Circle C and Metcenter are probably the most accessible if you are staying in downtown or near the airport. There really aren't any courses in the heart of austin now that Pease Park is gone.

I start work at 9am, super-south but within 15mins of a good course...

Well if it were the weekd,i could catch a round chris. Otherwise,the only way id be able to play a round on fri is If I have off

Hey, the friends I am going with told me I get one (1) round of golf. So I'm trying to maximize it.

The guy I'm staying with lives as Steiner Ranch.

lame! you are out near the lake it looks(NW). Bible Ridge and Wilco are looking like your most logical choices.

thats pretty rough limiting a disc golfer in a disc golf city to only 1 round

Yeah, I know. But this is a vacation with friends, not a disc golf vacation.

Of course, I live in a city with 20 courses within the metro, so it's not like I've never experience that

I should be available either or both of those days. I get off work aroumd 9am so I can be just about anywhere for a round starting at 930-10.

However, my availabilty does depend on my 6 month old. Like Zj said based on where you are staying I recommend either Bible Ridge or Wilco. If my wife is off work and can watch the kiddo I can play either course no matter what but if she is working I am limited to Wilco only. Reason for that is Ridgeline has lots of elevation changes and not stroller friendly whereas wilco is the complete opposite.

I'll need someone to pick me up from my friend's house (I'm flying in), and drop me back off.
