damn... that is awesome... and here i was thinking dg was never going to make it as a sport... wonder what they'd do if huge money started coming in on one guy or another...

I think it will be a problem for disc golf long term because the money a player could make by throwing a match if bought off would be greater than what they can win in our events. It probably doesn't happen in ball golf because their purses and prestige is big enough to minimize the chance of tampering.

Climo and Arthur have high enough ratings they should have had odds but they're not in there for some reason. KC didn't play Beaver State for some physical reason so maybe he's a dark horse they didn't want to handicap.

In medal play, tanking is quite unlikely to help a colluding wagerer in all but the most extreme, multi-player conspiracies. Even then, it'd be tougher-than-trivial to pull off.

In match play, on the other hand, money could defo be made. Happens in tennis all the time. Hmmm…

you can bet on who will eat hot dogs faster as well. yay! DG made it to the same level as eating competitions. im so pround :roll:

yet another surprise, here i was thinking the erudite members of this board could detect sarcasm without a bunch of stupid frigging smilies...

oh well. live and learn...

dg will never make it to the level of pro hot dog eating btw, at least in terms of coverage.
