Sit-coms have some powerful cultural mojo, it seems.

I suppose they'll just have to niggardly accept the fact that ABC reneged on its "assurance" not to mockingly ape the game, though.

Am I missing some kind of stupid inside joke or is completely ok to fill a post full of racial slurs? And then hilight them in brown? Whether or not you're trying to prove a point is irrelevant. Keep the racist bullshit to yourself.

settle down, donnie. vegan ray is a lot of horrible things but a racist isn't one of them.

Regardless of VR's "reputation" this a disc golf message board. I still fail to see why his post and the language used in it were necessary at all. Someone please feel free to enlighten me I guess I just don't get it.

If it hadn't been for VR's blatant, in your face, racially charged words then I wouldn't have cared enough to read everyone's take on that particular comment and come to my own conclusion of what happened. So in a twisted way, VR... wait he's twisted so he's on his own.

I will say that words DO hurt.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word niggardly. I sounds a lot like a racial slur but it has absolutely no connection whatsoever.
The most commonly speculated origin is Scandanavian nig/Old Norse hnoggr, meaning miserly.

nig·gard·ly
   [nig-erd-lee] Show IPA

adjective
1.
reluctant to give or spend; stingy; miserly.

2.
meanly or ungenerously small or scanty: a niggardly tip to a waiter.

adverb
3.
in the manner of a niggard.

I think "niggardly" served VR's intended purpose due to my misinterpertation.

Thanks for the vocabulary lesson but the damage had already been done. Afterall, that is the point of this ignorant thread.
