Vibram Players Cup - Bracketology

Who has which pro going all the way? Any major upsets? Discuss. I posted it here because its not so much about the tournament as it is the bracket madness.

I have Wysocki winning in an upset over Nate Doss.

Some upsets I've picked are: Chris Eads over Tank, Scott Burtard over Jim Oats, and Nikko getting knocked out early by Ulibarri (his breakup situation w/ Carman was a factor in that).

I've got Doss winning it all. I think Feldy and Nikko will face in the semis but Feldburg will win and then lose to Doss

My bracket was pretty boring w/ Doss over Feldberg in the Finals.

I just picked it on the matchups I'd like to see most. Like Ulibarri v. Locastro and Feldberg v. Locastro. Jenkins v. Anthon, Feldberg v. McBeth. If my brackets comes to fruition should be an exciting tourney to watch no doubt.

Philip Morgan over George Smith

Phil lives about 1.5h from the event give or take.. and should be familiar with the course.
George Smith is a notoriously slow starter.

Justin Ashton over Phil Arthur
Justin lives about 20 miles from the event. Played that course since inception.
Granted, Phil has the arm but I'm counting on local luck again.

Other possibilities..
Donald Ellsworth over Ron Convers
Scott Burtard over Jim Oates.

I have little to offer in terms of "breakdown". I like Schultz and at 36, I placed an older guy in. McCabe...I hear he can putt. I have Kolling and Anthon on those semis

It was a coin flip for me. I like Rick, great kid and one hell of a golfer. I'm banking on the experience of Doss to win out this time.

Don't take the Austin guys lightly..specifically Anthony Damon and Jeremy Mount. Neither are afraid of any of the touring crowd. They both know the course better than anyone and Mount has honestly been the best overall central texas golfer this year. Pretty much top 3-5 in every event. Anthony Damon has a canon and has a reputation as a big time clutch putter. I am picking a lot of Texas guys(like Matt Hall) to advance decently far. Being comfortable on that course is pretty huge. The ropes on a few holes are nasty. Mike Olse did a sick job with the redesign, lots of risk/reward situations occur after the tee shot. Only like 4 easy deuce/die holes. Much better than what I thought was possible out at Twin Parks. It is a huge course. The 18 holes covers both of the old courses, and spans every single corner of the property. This course will wear people out that are not used to playing the central texas hills. And well, the wind is always swirling or gusting in the 20+ range out there.

I was really unsure about how well match play would work out there, but after playing the course a couple times I am really impressed with what was done. I hope the layout is permanent because I really enjoyed it. There are not a lot of technical holes, pretty much gotta air it out and hit your landing zones.

and why are you doubting Nikko? he won it last year. I think he knows what to do
